Online version of the King, Warrior, Magician, Lover Inventory, a test for men based on the model of four archetypes of “mature masculinity” proposed by post-Jungian psychoanalyst Robert L. Moore and mythologist Douglas Gillette in their book “King, Warrior, Magician, Lover: Rediscovering Masculinity Through the Lens of Archetypal Psychology.”
According to this concept, a man's psychological maturity is associated with the development of four fundamental archetypal energies: the King, the Warrior, the Magician, and the Lover. Each represents a different dimension of personality – leadership and responsibility, action and discipline, insight and knowledge, and emotional connection and sensuality. The test evaluates the relative strength of these archetypes.
