Online version of the Need for Closure Scale (NFCS, updated Roets & Van Hiel version), a self-report measure developed by D. Webster and A. Kruglanski to assess the desire for definite answers and aversion to ambiguity or uncertainty. The scale evaluates individual differences in the need for cognitive closure, including preference for order and predictability, discomfort with ambiguity, decisiveness, and resistance to having one's beliefs challenged.
