Online version of the Ambivalent Sexism Inventory (ASI), a self-report measure developed to assess ambivalent sexist attitudes toward women. The ASI distinguishes between Hostile Sexism, which reflects openly negative, antagonistic, or resentful attitudes toward women, and Benevolent Sexism, which reflects subjectively positive but paternalistic beliefs that idealize women as pure, fragile, or in need of male protection.
