Pre-Sleep Arousal Scale, PSAS

Online version of the Pre-Sleep Arousal Scale (PSAS), a self-report measure assessing cognitive and somatic arousal experienced before sleep. The scale evaluates pre-sleep thoughts, worries, mental activity, bodily tension, restlessness, and physiological activation that may interfere with falling asleep. The PSAS is commonly used in insomnia research and clinical assessment to distinguish between cognitive and physical components of arousal at bedtime.
