Magical Ideation Scale, MIS

Online version of the Magical Ideation Scale (MIS), a self-report measure assessing magical ideation – the tendency to endorse unusual beliefs about causation that are not supported by conventional understanding (e.g., telepathy, clairvoyance, superstition). The scale is widely used as an indicator of schizotypal traits and proneness to psychosis, focusing on individuals' personal beliefs and experiences rather than the objective validity of such ideas.

The scale is part of the Chapman Psychosis-proneness Scales.
