Online version of the Coping Orientation to Problems Experienced Inventory (COPE), a self-report questionnaire developed by Charles S. Carver to assess a broad range of coping strategies. The inventory is theory-driven and includes multiple subscales reflecting different ways people respond to stress, some of which are generally considered more adaptive, while others may be less effective depending on the context.
The Brief COPE is also available – a shorter and slightly modified version of the original instrument.
