Self-Descriptive Inventory, EGO

Online version of the Self-Descriptive Inventory (EGO), a scale developed to operationalize Taoist concepts (specifically «ego-grasping») for empirical research. It was designed to measure a person's place on a continuum ranging from a Taoist orientation («observational acceptance» or being «with the Tao») to an «ego-grasping» orientation (fighting against the Tao).
