Online version of the Positive Beliefs About Rumination Scale (PBRS), a self-report measure designed to assess individuals' positive metacognitive beliefs about the functions and consequences of rumination. Based on the metacognitive model of emotional disorders, the PBRS captures beliefs that rumination is a helpful coping strategy for understanding depression, solving problems, identifying triggers, preventing future mistakes, and prioritizing important tasks.
