State Self-Compassion Scale, SSCS-S

Online version of the State Self-Compassion Scale (SSCS), a self-report measure assessing momentary self-compassion in response to a specific situation. It is conceptually derived from the Self-Compassion Scale and captures the same core components – self-kindness versus self-judgment, common humanity versus isolation, and mindfulness versus overidentification – but focuses on temporary, context-dependent reactions rather than trait-level tendencies.
