General Attitude and Belief Scale, GABS

Online version of the General Attitude and Belief Scale (GABS), a self-report measure based on the principles of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). It assesses rational and irrational beliefs associated with emotional distress, including demandingness, catastrophizing, low frustration tolerance, self-downing, and other maladaptive cognitive attitudes. The scale is designed to evaluate core belief patterns that may contribute to psychological difficulties and dysfunctional emotional reactions.

Also available is the Short General Attitude and Belief Scale (SGABS).
