Online version of the Reading the Mind in Films Test (RMIF), a performance-based measure developed to assess recognition of complex emotions and mental states from short film scenes. Unlike static facial-expression tasks, the RMIF uses dynamic social situations with facial expressions, voice, body language, and contextual cues, making it closer to everyday social perception. The task is used to assess theory of mind, complex emotion recognition, and social cognition, especially in research on autism spectrum conditions.
